The European Yoga Festival includes:

  • Daily early morning yoga practice and meditation (sadhana)
  • Daily Gurdwara programme
  • Karma yoga small group meetings, in your language group
  • Morning workshops and evenings study groups with renowned and inspiring teachers from across the world
  • 3 days of 21 stages of meditation (the first journey)
  • Evening yoga and healing meditation
  • A Bazaar offering books, music, clothing, jewellery and other items to help support your practice at home
  • All your meals, and tenting space

Daily Schedule

(this changes slightly for the 21 Stages Meditation days)

  • 4:00 (AM!) Wake up – a group of musicians will come by your tent to sing you awake
  • 4:30-7:00 Sadhana – on a field, under the stars
  • 7:00-8:00 Gurdwara programme – kirtan, a group prayer, and the daily hukumnama
  • 8:15 Breakfast – on the langar field (potato soup and bananas and oranges)
  • 10:00-11:15 Missel group meetings, in your language group and karma yoga
  • 11:30-13:30 Morning workshops
  • 13:30 Watermelon served in front of the Big Top
  • 14:00-16:00 All Camp Workshop, in the Big Top
  • 16:30 Dinner – on the langar field (mung beans and rice, carrots, beetroot, lettuce)
  • 17:30-19:00 Evening study groups
  • 19:00-19:30 Children’s yoga – on the sadhana field
  • 19:30-20:45 Evening yoga and healing meditation – on the sadhana field
  • 20:45-21:45 Evening music programme and Bazaar
  • 21:45 Silence – bed time!
