Creating an Inclusive Festival Experience

We are committed to making the European Yoga Festival accessible to all, ensuring that everyone can fully participate and enjoy the experience. From inclusive yoga practices to on-site accessibility support, we strive to provide a welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable.

Inclusive Yoga Practices

Our teachers naturally adapt asanas and techniques to accommodate individual needs, ensuring that yoga is accessible for all. However, we recognise that some attendees may require additional support.

If you have medically recorded special needs, we encourage you to bring a support person and claim our special needs discount. Your well-being is important to us, and we are here to help make your festival experience as comfortable as possible.

Support for Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

The European Yoga Festival warmly welcomes pregnant and breastfeeding women and acknowledges the dedication required during this time.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you do not need to sign up for additional Seva—simply inform us in advance, and we will add you to a special support group.

Morning meetings are available for guidance and connection, offering advice on non-spicy food, extra snacks, warm showers, and preferred bathroom facilities, as well as support for navigating White Tantric Yoga® days. The Red Tent is open throughout the day, providing a quiet, nurturing space for rest and support.

We celebrate the 120th day of pregnancy, a significant spiritual milestone. If you will be at the festival on your 120th day, please let your Seva group leader know so we can offer blessings and celebrate this special moment with you.

Attending with a Disability

We are dedicated to making the festival as accessible as possible. If you have specific requirements, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

To support all participants, we offer chair yoga options, including modifications for White Tantric Yoga®, which can be practised while seated. Volunteers are also available to assist where needed, and we will work to ensure your festival experience is as seamless as possible.

Accessibility Services

To improve accessibility at the festival, we offer the following services:

  • Accessible Parking – Reserved spaces near the festival entrance for easier access.
  • Shuttle Service – Accessible shuttles available from the train station to the festival grounds.
  • On-Site Support – Volunteers available to assist with accessibility needs throughout the event.
  • Accessible Facilities – Adapted restrooms and showers are located throughout the festival site.

Emergency Support

A first aid station is centrally located within the festival grounds to provide care if you feel unwell or experience an injury. Your well-being is our priority, and support is always available if needed.
