Accessibility

We are committed to creating an inclusive festival experience for everyone. Here’s how we ensure accessibility and support for all attendees of our yoga retreat:

Inclusive Yoga Practices

In line with our teaching philosophy, our teachers naturally adapt asanas to meet individual needs, ensuring everyone feels included. However, we aspire to go beyond and ensure that everyone feels fully included. If you have medically recorded special needs, please bring someone with you and claim your special needs discount. Your well-being is important to us, and we want to make your experience as comfortable as possible.

Breastfeeding

The European Yoga Festival warmly welcomes pregnant and breastfeeding women.

We understand the dedication required for pregnancy and breastfeeding. You don’t need to sign up for additional Seva; just let us know in advance so we can add you to the special group for pregnant and breastfeeding participants.

Join our morning meetings for support, including advice on non-spicy food, extra snacks, warm showers, preferred bathrooms, and navigating Tantra Days. Additionally, the Red Tent will provide support throughout the day. Celebrate your 120th day of pregnancy with blessings.

In honour of Yogi Bhajan’s respect for women, we celebrate the 120th day of pregnancy. Let your seva group leader know if you’ll be here on your 120th day for blessings and celebrations.

Attending with a Disability

We aim to support everyone’s requirements to the best of our ability. For instance, we offer yoga on chairs, including White Tantric Yoga®, which can also be practised seated. Please let us know your needs, and we will accommodate them as much as possible.
