The toddler camp has its own area – arguably the quietest part of the festival – with hammocks, a sand play area, swings, dry toilets, a diaper changing area, a dining area and a full sleeping area inside the big tent. Our aim is to create a safe and relaxed environment for the little ones.
Due to the very young age of the children, parents must stay with their children on the first day of camp. This will enable your child to feel at ease in the space and with the other children, and to get to know the volunteers. We have volunteers who speak the main festival languages.
Our camp guides are very flexible and do their best to establish a bond with your child. Sometimes, depending on the child’s age and temperament, it may only be possible to leave them for a few hours at a time. Be prepared to stay with your child most of the time.
Children this young need their parents much more; if your child can’t stay at camp without you, you’ll have to look after him.
Children who are not quite ready for Toddler Camp (age 4) can return to Toddler Camp. To do so, simply contact the camp coordinator during on-site registration.
Karma Yoga for parents
If your child participates in the toddler camp, you must register for a day of karma yoga at the toddler camp during White Tantra. It is not necessary to register for another karma yoga group.
