Seva, or selfless service, is at the heart of the European Yoga Festival. It embodies the spirit of Karma Yoga—giving your time and energy for the benefit of others, without expectation.
Each participant contributes two hours a day to Seva, helping with tasks such as preparing meals, washing dishes, setting up spaces, and assisting with festival logistics. These shared responsibilities ensure the festival runs smoothly, making it a true community experience.
Seva is more than just helping out—it’s a way to connect, support, and be part of something bigger. Working side by side, friendships form, conversations flow, and moments of shared laughter make even the simplest tasks meaningful.
Seva is the practice of selfless service, a core part of yogic life that teaches humility, gratitude, and unity. It allows us to step beyond personal practice and contribute to something greater.
At EYF, Seva is what makes the festival possible. It ensures that everyone plays a role in creating the experience together, making the event accessible while fostering a spirit of support and collaboration.
